The function of DriTherm® is to provide both insulation and corrosion protection in a field applied system. DriTherm is installed directly around thermal piping to form a dense, closed cell barrier between the system and the surrounding soil. When installed according to the OEM specified dimensions, the product forms an air-tight, hydrophobic barrier which insulates, inhibits corrosion and is extremely resistant to moisture ingress.
Typical DriTherm® applications include: High/low pressure steam/condensate, hot & chill water piping, and industrial processing piping. Our customer base includes major colleges and universities, state and federal institutions, military bases, refineries and industrial/housing complexes. When compared to traditional products, a DriTherm system can be as much as 30% less in total installed cost, with no compromise in thermal efficiency or longevity.
Features:
1. Cost effective; 25% to 40% less installed cost.
2. Certified 100% hydrophobic; Less than 0.02% moisture (14days/10ft head)
3. 100% Self-Compacting; No mechanical compaction required.
4. DriTherm meets United Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) for new construction on US Military bases and Federal Institutions, which include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Department of the Air Force, Veterans Administration and NASA.
5. Environmentally friendly & nontoxic
