| "This is to confirm the information I relayed to you concerning the installation of approximately 2000 lineal feet of high pressure steam line from our building 27 to the Network Training and Test Facility (NTTF). This installation has been completely satisfactory and, in fact, during the 1976 thermal scan of the Goddard Space Flight Center, this particular length of steam line was not evident on the photographs, thereby attesting to the insulation qualities of the material used." NASA – Greenbelt, MD | "Since 1993 DriTherm has been installed on our underground hot oil, steam and condensate piping based on the recommendations of a corrosion engineer at a local firm. Prior to the installation of DriTherm, our underground piping was installed using pre-insulated systems, as well as field applied insulation, with mixed results. The Authority has installed over 20,000 CF of DriTherm on over 2,500 LF of piping since being introduced to the product. We feel that it is a product that will prevent corrosion and provide thermal efficiency when installed properly." New York Power Authority – White Plains, NY | |||
| Corps of Engineers | Department of the Army | |||
| "DriTherm is approved for new construction work for Class C & D soil conditions." Corps of Engineers – Washington, DC | "We feel that the DriTherm system is cost effective as well as easy and fast to install. It has performed well on the installations that we have." Department of the Army – Fort Knox, KY | |||
| NORESCO | Entergy Services Inc. | |||
| "I wanted to say thanks for you product and technical support. NORESCO and the United States Military Academy (USMA – West Point) appreciated your company’s willingness to deliver product for 800 feet of underground steam line. This order was relatively small and of little interest to manufacturers of pre insulated under ground piping systems. However, this steam line was of critical importance to USMA and NORESCO." NORESCO – Southboro, MA | "Since 1994 we have used your DriTherm material as the insulating media for all of our underground fuel oil piping installations for all of the following reasons. We have found the DriTherm meets all of the heat retention and moisture exclusion requirements in our fuel oil system piping envelopes. DriTherm is easy to handle and install. No vibrating or tamping is required in DriTherm installations." Entergy Services, Inc. – Vicksburg, MS | |||
| Sandia National Laboratories | Pennsylvania State University | |||
| "The excavated lines were installed about five years earlier using ‘DriTherm’ as the insulation/corrosion protection system. We were surprised, and delighted, to discover the condition was ‘like new", with no surface corrosion on either line." Sandia National Laboratories – Albuquerque, NM | "In response to your request, we have used Protexulate (now known as DriTherm) as a pourable insulation for underground steam/condensate/air lines on the University Park Campus for roughly twenty years. We have used something over 2,500 tons of this material with excellent success." Penn State University – University Park, PA | |||
| Morrisson-Knudsen | University of Minnesota | |||
| "As you know, the steam export line to UNC-Charlotte is an underground line which is installed in Protexulate / DriTherm material. The line is 5150 ft. long to the tie-in point. The steam temperature is measured at both ends of the export line. Typically steam leaves the plant at 340 deg. F and is delivered at 325 deg. F at the University tie-in point. I feel that this small temperature loss is a credit to your product and deserves mention." Morrisson-Knudsen – Charlotte, NC | "This summer the University of Minnesota excavated 12 year old buried steam and condensate lines on the St. Paul Campus to make tie-ins. It was observed that the existing steam and condensate lines had virtually no external corrosion. These lines had been insulated with DriTherm pour-in insulation. " University of Minnesota – Minneapolis, MN | |||
| University of Rochester | Pro Mechanical | |||
| "The University has approximately eight miles of underground distribution steam and condensate return lines that are insulated. Steam is provided 100 psig and a 340-deg. F. temperature. Various parts of the distribution system have been worked on recently. Upon uncovering pipes that have been protected with Protexulate / DriTherm for more than 17 years, they looked like new". University of Rochester – Rochester, NY | "Pro Mechanical has installed over 50,000 CF of DriTherm (at USC), which amounts to over 10,000 LF of pipe". Pro Mechanical – Orange, CA | |||
